This is to all my fine lady-friends (sure, male-friends too!) out there.
You are all beautiful. I’m not talking about the way your face is symmetrical or how you have a flawless complexion (which you do). I am talking about how often you make me laugh and smile. How often you make me feel loved.
Call me an elitist, whatever, but I like my friends to be truly intriguing. It’s not only that you are each so special, but you seriously make an impression. On others. On me. Just in general. You’re the type of girls (and guys) that songs are written about. The type to be painted into masterpieces. The type to be written into scripts and played by Scarlett Johansson and Julianne Moore.
You’re going places. You’re going to be astronauts and writers and engineers. You’re going to love and be loved. You’re going to each make your own small mark on this world. I’m thankful to have known each of you, that you have each autographed my heart before you became too famous.
What I am trying to say here is that you are each a great catch. If you are single this Valentine’s Day, remember how beautiful you are. And if, by chance, you have that loved one, I hope they understand and appreciate your beauty the way I do.
V-Day doesn’t have to be D-Day.
